Description

• Development and operation of our Azure data platform, especially in the area of data warehousing and data integration.
• Design and realisation of ETL/ELT processes for the provision of data for BI applications, peripheral systems and external stakeholders.
• Support and optimisation of loading processes along the entire data pipeline.
• Ensuring structured and quality-assured data storage.
• Documenting data flows and supporting the further development of standards for data quality and governance.
• Close collaboration with data managers and internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Sound experience in data integration and processing, in particular in setting up data warehouses or modern data architectures (e.g. Lakehouse) as well as in the implementation of ETL/ELT processes with Azure Data Factory.
• Confident handling of T-SQL as well as experience in automation, monitoring and CI/CD-controlled deployment of data pipelines.
• Experienced with structured and semi-structured data formats (Parquet, CSV, JSON) as well as experience with Python and Azure Functions.
• Experience in data modelling, especially in building BI data marts and the structured mapping of complex business processes.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to help shape a family and sustainably orientated corporate environment.
• Very good knowledge of German and English; experience in the banking environment or knowledge of Spark and artificial intelligence is an advantage.
