Description

  • Providing operational support to front-office departments (Private Banking, Banking for Professionals) for specific compliance-related business transactions
  • Conducting and compiling compliance-related research (World-Check and adverse media searches)
  • Substantive and formal preliminary review as well as quality assurance of client documentation within the framework of defined compliance processes
  • Processing and coordination of correspondent bank inquiries
  • Monitoring and clarification of payment transactions in close cooperation with front-office and compliance
  • Support in the creation, revision, and quality assurance of business profiles
  • Collaboration on management proposals related to compliance
  • Handling additional operational compliance interface issues between Compliance and Front Office
  • Ensuring consistent, high-quality handling of recurring compliance issues
  • Close collaboration with Relationship Managers, assistants, and the Client Compliance Team
  • Building, maintaining, and consolidating expertise across Compliance, Private Banking, and Banking for Professionals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent education (business administration, law, banking/finance)
  • Several years of professional experience in compliance, the front office, or a comparable cross-functional role in the banking sector
  • Excellent understanding of banking processes, regulatory requirements, and client structures
  • Experience in payment transactions and dealing with correspondent banks is a plus
  • High reliability, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility, as well as a structured, independent, and precise approach to work
  • Strong communication skills and a high level of service orientation toward front-office departments
  • Ability to handle complex issues in a pragmatic, solution-oriented, and implementation-focused manner
  • Excellent German and English skills; any additional foreign languages are a plus
